Reid Barrett

Reid Barrett, raised in Fort Mill, South Carolina, discovered his passion for animals at an early age while training and showing horses. At just 15, he embarked on his first job in a pet store, marking the beginning of a lifelong career in the animal field. Over the past 32 years, Reid has cultivated extensive expertise in various facets of veterinary care and animal welfare.
Starting at the age of 18, Reid spent 12 years as a clinic manager, honing his skills in veterinary management and developing a deep understanding of both the business and clinical sides of veterinary medicine. He then transitioned into veterinary pharmaceutical sales for another 12 years, further expanding his knowledge and strengthening his network within the industry. For the last 8 years, Reid has been dedicated to non-profit animal shelter medicine, where his commitment to animal welfare and community service truly shines.
Reid’s diverse skill set includes veterinary technician expertise, Fear Free techniques, animal behavior insights, and a wealth of medical knowledge and experience. His comprehensive background makes him an invaluable asset to any team.
Reid spends his time off with his three Airedale Terriers at the park, or you will find him kayaking on the river, enjoying the outdoors and relaxing.
