Katie Newton is a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic and Certified Animal Chiropractor through the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association. She is one of few in the state to hold this certification, and has worked with animals for over 20 years. Katie Newton, DC/CAC, chose to be a chiropractor after it helped her take control of her own health. Her experience ranges from dog training, canine hydrotherapy and Doga, to working with shelter animals and being a veterinary assistant. She has had the honor of helping many different animals including dogs, cats, goats, pigs, and horses. She has served Columbia and surrounding areas going on 10 years and is excited to expand into Aiken. In addition to being a CAC, she is also a Certified Essential Oil Specialist through Doterra. She is a mom with a 6-year-old daughter and two rescue dogs.. She says, “Working with animals and gaining their trust is so humbling”. Dr. Newton’s mission is to improve the lives of pets and their people with education, chiropractic, and natural remedies.
