Annamaria Newmark brings over a decade of experience in shelter medicine and animal rescue to her role at Central Savannah River Area Veterinary Services (CSRAVS). Originally from New Jersey, she splits her time between her home state and South Carolina, working alongside a variety of veterinarians in both regions.
She earned her veterinary degree from the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences in 2024 and is currently completing the PAVE licensure revalidation process for foreign veterinary graduates. As a veterinary intern, Annamaria trains under the guidance of multiple experienced clinicians at a private practice in New Jersey and at CSRAVS, gaining hands-on experience in both general practice and shelter-based medicine.
Her long-standing commitment to animal welfare, combined with a global veterinary education and practical clinical training, makes her a dedicated and compassionate member of the CSRAVS team.
