CSRAVS is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team! We are a fast growing, multi-doctor practice committed to providing high-quality medical care and excellent client service.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in a wide range of veterinary technical skills, possess strong communication abilities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assisting veterinarians with examinations, procedures, and surgeries
- Administering medications and treatments as directed
- Performing laboratory tests (e.g., blood draws, urinalysis, cytology)
- Monitoring anesthesia and recovering patients
- Taking and processing radiographs
- Providing client education on pet care, medications, and preventive health
- Maintaining accurate medical records
- Sterilizing surgical instruments and maintaining equipment
- Assisting with patient restraint and handling
Qualifications
- Certified/Registered/Licensed Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVT) preferred, or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of experience in a veterinary setting is a plus
- Proficiency in veterinary software NEO a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
