At CSRA Veterinary Services, a core part of our mission is supporting local animal rescue companies in the Central Savannah River Area. We are dedicated to the health and well being of all animals in our community and are proud to highlight our partnership with Home for Good Dog Rescue, a vital 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Home for Good Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to rescue dogs from overcrowded and high-kill shelters - many of them right here in the Central Savannah River Area - and provide them with the medical care, rehabilitation, and love they need to find their forever homes.
With a physical presence in Aiken, SC, through their Almost Home Wellness Center, and a robust adoption program based in Berkeley Heights, NJ, HFGDR is uniquely positioned to save the most at-risk dogs, including those who are heartworm positive, senior dogs, and those who have survived cruelty or neglect. Since 2010, Home for Good has rescued over 13,000 dogs, never turning away from the most challenging cases that need them the most. Their efforts are rooted in compassion, collaboration with local shelters and rescuers, and a deep commitment to giving every dog the future they deserve.
